Fire Protection Plan

What is a fire protection plan?

According to the update from 5th September 2018 of waste regulation in order to obtain a permission for waste collection and processing it is required to attach a fire protection plan to the application. The plan contains conditions of fire protection and it is prepared by an expert in fire protection and it is approved of by a city/district State Fire Service Chief. We provide this service in the whole country.

Detailed information is stipulated in the art.42.4b, that is
"4b. To the application for waste collection permission and application for waste processing permission following documents have to be attached:
1) Fire protection plan that includes fire protection conditions of an installation, a building, its part, or another place for waste storing , approved of by a city/district State Fire Service Chief, done by:
a) A fire protection expert, referred in chapter 2a of the bill from 24 August 1991 on fire protection service ( Journal of Laws form 2018, item 620)- when the authority is Province Marshal or Regional Environment Protection Director
b) A person , referred in art. 4, section 2a of the abovementioned bill – the authority is A district president;
2) Decision, referred in section 4c
4c the approval , referred in section 4b, item 1, is obtained on the basis of the decision issued by a city/district State Fire Service Chief, which you can make a complaint
4d Agreeing onfire protection conditions of an installation, a building, its part, or another place for waste storing a city/district State Fire Service Chief:
1) Grants a permission for their implementation.
2)  Grants a permission for their application, on condition that further requirements can be met, or
3)  Doesn’t give permission for their application
4e A fire protection plan is an opinion, referred inart.11n,section 2, item 2 of the bill from 24 August 1991 on fire protection service.

What does a procedure for drawing up a fire protection plan look like? 

When the cooperation starts, the commissioning party prepares and available building’s documentation which the document in question should concern. Next, an inspection on site is carried out in order to verify the fire protection conditions. Having obtained necessary information, a fire protection plan is drawn up, and submitted for approval to the city/district State Fire Service Chief, who in 14 days issues a decision on waste collection or permission for waste processing. 

What is the cost if this document?

The cost is agreed individually, depending on the company’s size and complexity. The prices start from 2990 PLN (netto).
